[ Will Martin <iunix1 at almsa-1.arpa> asks about an easy way to remove
files with control characters in their name.]

My method for dealing with this sort of maverick file is to use the
"dired" package in GnuEmacs (type <esc>-x dired). This allows the
user the point-and-shoot interface that makes manipulation of weird
filenames a piece of cake. I have also been spoiled by this interface
thanks to the "DirUtil" set of programs on my Amiga. I realize this
advice is limited to those who have GnuEmacs at their site, but maybe
it will be useful. For all those who do not have GnuEmacs <sigh>, my
condolences.
           Peace
