I am currently running cvs 1.2, with rcs 4.3(?) on my System
V/386 machine (egsner.cirr.com). It is running pretty much fine,
although there were some porting problems. I believe that I still have
enough of the pieces around here to be able to generate a patch kit that
can be applied to the cvs 1.2 sources... (I should, its all been
checked into cvs. :-) Send mail, and if I get enough response, I will
post the patches. Otherwise, I will mail to all requestors.

The biggest restriction is that all the files checked into the
system must have names less than twelve characters long (this is really
an rcs restriction, and not cvs's doing) I have yet to upgrade rcs to
the current version of 5.5, although that has been in the queue for
quite some time, and I have seen several reports of success under System
V/386.

FYI: egsner.cirr.com is a System V/386 machine, running ISC 2.0.2,
which is System V, release 3.2.
