Using cu with rz/sz? Can't be done?

Have you tried the ,M attribute in the Devices file?  Ie:

ACU tty00,M - 1200 hayes

The ,M attribute has been around for sometime.  It's used when modems have
a real sense of carrier detect.  You don't really want to strap carrier detect up
all the time.  Because if the client goes down with out signing off properly,
your phone bill will go way up!
