Im having a problem with ISC sendmail ...

when sending mail like
a!b at c in other words I need to get it to my resolver machine "a"
but the mailer barfs telling me there i no such machine as a.
    Howsomesoever a!b works fine.

Another approach is to tell me how to get a non tcp/ip version
to correctly have a resolver machine so that I can say
mail b at c, and my machine will automatically find machine a and send it on
    for proper distribution...
    Thanks
    Richard
