Don't let your LAT get between you and UUCP.

Enclosed you will find the information you need to set your DECsystem
up to do UUCP over a LAT port. The enclosed information allows both outgoing
and incoming calls on LAT ports.
The enclosed configuration is for two outgoing lines on tty02 and
tty03. Incoming connections do not always map to the same ports, DEC uses a
FIFO method of allocating ports. Incoming connections start with tty04 in this
configuration.
I used this configuration under Ultrix 3.1D and am using it now under
Ultrix 4.0. In fact, this post would not be possible with being able to UUCP
over a LAT port.
I have sent this out to a few people. A few pople from Eruope requested
the info, I hope it got through (I got some mail about uux getting an error on
a site down the pipe).
Here is a sample L.sys file entry:
