There is a new book on Unix which is supposed to come out reasonably
soon. (Stacey's in the City has had it on order since November) The author's
surname is Gauthier, and the publisher is Prentice-Hall. I don't know what
level it's on, or whether it is good, bad, or indifferent.

If you would like to be on a mailing list for information on Unix,
C, and Software Tools, you can drop a line to:
	Unix-ops Unix Users' Group
	P.O. Box 5182
	Walnut Creek, CA 94596
(this last paragraph comes from issue 2 of Data-Cast, which is a magazine
published by the people who run the Computer Faires. Individual issues
may be bought at Stacey's. It seems to be largely devoted to CP/M.)

					Joel Rubin

P.S. I told someone I know who works at Cody's about the book, so they'll
probably also order it.
