Has anyone used the Sky floating point board in a Sun computer? What increase in speed does the board give the computer? I am trying to configure the system for vlsi work, mostly to run the Berkely and University of Washington tools. Do you think having the floating point will give me an increase in performance on this software? Waddiya think? sid at linus
