request info about ATT Unix V and 4.xbsd differences

There must a good number of people who have experience (trans)porting
software between AT&T Unix V and Berkeley 4.x Unix.  If you are one of them,
I like to know the differences between these 2 (series of) operating systems
you encountered.

If there are enough responses, I'll post a summary later.
