Memory error message decoding

I am having trouble understanding some memory error messages and would
appreciate some help. I am running 4.1 BSD UNIX on a VAX 11/780 with 4 Meg of
16K chip memory. How would I translate an error message such as this:

	mcr0: soft ecc addr 10fbe syn 5b

Can one figure out which board is having the error from this message?
Does anyone know anything about the "syndrome" ("syn") bits?

	Thanks.

P.S. Microdiagnostics don't show anything to be wrong.
