df blocks but what about bytes...

One thing I forgot to mention is that I am running under System V
which df returns the number of BLOCKS free.  But under Sys V, the file system
could be mounted as 512k 1024k or 2048k per block...

What file contains the mount info on system startup??  There we will find
the number of bytes per block the file system is mounted with.  Thus we
can multiply free blocks by bytes/block....   Help??
