That's fine with me. All I care about is that there does exist some SAK
which cannot be turned off or diverted by any user process. I picked ^K
for an example because John doesn't think Break is portable enough.
(Note that in the pictures getty shields the line from speed changes;
this isn't necessary for an out-of-band sequence.)
