Xenix on an 80286 laptop

I just purchased an Epson Equity LT-286e laptop and would like to
run xenix on it if possible. It is configured as follows:

	1mb ram
	40mb hard drive
	1.44mb 3.5" floppy
	80287 coprocessor
	EGA display

I have noticed that as of late most of the magazines that advertise
SCO products are only offering the runtime and developers packages
for the 80286 processor. What happened to the text processing?

Can xenix run from a 3.5" floppy? Some folks I called to purchase
from said that the 3.5" version was for microchannel machines only.
What gives?

If anyone has answers or insight into what I might look at please
send me email.
