find, resolution

I posted about a week ago (already expired on my site, that's why no
references in this article) about SCO Xenix "find" command not doing
what I expected it to when I did

% find . -mtime n -print

which I expected to print the names of all files modified in the past n
days, but which actually printed the names of all files modified exactly
(within 24 hours or so) n days ago...

Someone sent back that their manual said "-mtime -n" would find files
modified within the past n days, and "-mtime +n" would find files
modified at least n days ago.

My manuals (SCO Xenix) do not include this, but my "find" program does.

Thanks for all of the responses!
