SCO Pro. is known to have this problem, to fix it look at the SCO Unix
Release notes, there it describes how to patch the binary.  If you don't
have it here it is:

cd /usr/lib/pro
cp calc calc.00
/etc/_fst -w calc
0x17:3c014?w 0x16eb
$q
sync


This is exactly what the release notes say.
