XENIX TCP/IP - Bad Hertz Value

I have a problem that is present on 386-PC running Xenix 2.3.2 and the
streams-based TCP-IP extension. When I "rsh" any command to the Xenix
box from an DEC Ultrix Ver. 3.1. system, the Xenix unit seems to perform
whatever task that I ask of it but when it finishes a message "Bad Hertz
Value" is printed on the controlling tty on the DEC. Any clues?
