     Rather than sending the final source to the instructor why not have a
shell script that will compile the source, link it along with any necessary
libraries and execute it with any necessary input, either from a file or
interactive.  The shell will then send any output (by email) to the instructor.
This lessens the load on the instructor yet guarantees honesty.  The student
can compile the program as s/he normally would and would submit the source to
the "black hole" compiler when s/he was satisified with the results.
