Request: animate a collection of 3-D points over time

   You could use GAS (Graphics Animation System) developed at Ames.
We use it to view CFD particle traces as well as other things.
It is a nice piece of software and it is also free (U.S. disemination only).

If you have a NAS account it is real easy to get it.  You do have to
