Dataproducts Parallel Printer Problems

We currently have Dataproducts printer connected to our SUN 4/280 via a a
parallel interface.  Occasionally the printer decides to stop in the
middle of a file.  Has anyone else had this problem?  Is it the printer or
the SUN?
