Is anyone out there aware of any GOOD public domain or proprietary software
tools for doing Source Control and Configuration Management in the Unix
environment? At a minimum I'd like something which would intelligently
integrate the functionality of Make, Lint, RCS, and CC into a reasonable
system for supporting medium to large scale software development projects.
In addition, the system should provide support for making new releases
as well as building and maintaining old releases.

The tools could run under either System V or BSD 4.3 Unix; however, they
MUST run on MassComp machines. It would be wonderful if there were
something as sophisticated as Apollo's DSEE configuration management system
available in the Unix world, but anything that does a reasonable job
    would be a big help.
